SOLD OUT St. Ninians and Ackroyd’s Guided Pairing
September 4, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
St. Ninians, Scotland – a small town now subsumed into the larger city of Stirling – was the site of fighting on the first day of the famous Battle of Bannockburn, and is the birthplace of our beloved Christina Kerr. Like, Schramm’s ‘Chrissie,’ which is her namesake, ‘St. Ninians’ balances the flavors of bright, juicy red currants with earthy, robust black currants, and premium orange blossom honey.
Cheese and Onion Breakfast Pie (4)
A savory blend of egg, cheese, onion, potatoes and seasoning in a homemade pie shell with a puff pastry crust.
Black Currant Lemon Cake (6)
Bright and flavorful lemon cake sitting atop a generous dollop of our housemade blackcurrant jam. Blackcurrant has sweet, earthy flavor unlike other berries and is one of the United Kingdom’s most popular flavors.
Due to the perishable nature of this pairing, it is not eligible for our “hold for shipping” program and MUST be picked up between September 1st, 2021 – September 3rd, 2021. All shipping orders will ship on August 31st, 2021.
